These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ROMA app ("App", "Service", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ROMA is an entertainment app that lets users interact with fully fictional characters through AI-generated text chat and short video scenes. All characters in the App are entirely fictional and AI-generated — they do not depict, impersonate, or represent any real, living or deceased person. Any resemblance to real individuals is coincidental.

2. Age Restriction

The Service is intended only for users 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that access to this type of content is lawful where you live. We may request age verification and may deny or revoke access if we have reason to doubt your age.

All characters in the App are always depicted as adults (18+). Any attempt to create, request, or generate content depicting a minor in a romantic, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate context is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate, permanent account termination, and may be reported to law enforcement.

3. User Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access to your account that is not our fault.

4. Acceptable Use / Prohibited Content

We may apply automated and manual moderation of messages and generated content to enforce these rules, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

5. Nature of Content / Disclaimer

All content, including chat and video, is generated by artificial intelligence and provided for entertainment purposes only. Characters have no consciousness, emotions, or real intentions. The Service is not a substitute for human relationships, therapy, or professional counseling. If you are experiencing emotional distress, please seek help from a qualified professional.

AI-generated output may occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated responses and are not responsible for your emotional reaction to such content.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation terms are shown before purchase in the App Store / Google Play. Payments, renewals, and refunds are governed by the respective platform's policies. We do not directly store or process your card details.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App, including its design, characters, code, and generated content (excluding text you personally input), belong to us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including without prior notice where necessary to protect the Service, other users, or to comply with the law. You may delete your account at any time in the App settings.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
